CAT OF THE MONTH
Beverly Marsh ran a smuggling ring out of the Albuquerque storm drains. Catnip mostly, plus the occasional stolen rotisserie chicken. Every rat in the tunnels owed her money.
Rescue workers found her sitting on a pile of chicken bones with her kittens tucked behind her. She did not look relieved. She looked like someone negotiating terms.
Bev tells us that she has retired from crime… for now.
From playful kittens to shy sweethearts, our lounge is home to cats with all kinds of personalities. All of our cats are adoptable and come from trusted rescue partners.
