By visiting the cat lounge, you agree to the following conditions:

Children

We currently do not have an age limit. Please don’t be the reason we change that.

Children 12 and under must be directly supervised by an adult at all times. For everyone’s safety and comfort, one adult for every two children is required. If your group does not meet this ratio, we’ll be happy to rebook your visit for another time.

safety (Cats)

If any person (including children) is behaving in a way that is dangerous or disruptive to the cats, Cafe staff may ask them to leave.

It is our duty to keep the cats healthy and safe. You must remove your shoes or wipe the bottoms with a sanitizing wipe, provided by the Cat Cafe. You must also wash your hands with soap and water in the designated hand wash sink after entering the Cat Lounge.

All cats have different personalities and needs. Don’t pick a cat up without asking staff first. Don’t approach a cat when they are showing signs they want to be left alone (tail twitching, airplane ears, growling, hissing, etc.).

Safety (Humans)

The cats in our lounge have been selected for their friendly temperaments and ability to live comfortably with both people and other cats. That said, cats are still animals and may act unpredictably. By entering the lounge, you agree to release and hold harmless The Turquoise Teapot LLC, its employees, volunteers, and rescue partners from any injuries or illnesses that may occur during your visit—including, but not limited to, scratches, bites, or allergic reactions. Any medical treatment required as a result of your visit remains the full financial and legal responsibility of the visitor and/or their parent or guardian.

You should be aware that interacting with animals carries some risk of exposure to illnesses that can pass between animals and humans. According to the CDC, these germs can range from mild to serious, and animals may sometimes appear healthy while carrying them. To reduce your risk, we strongly recommend washing your hands after handling or playing with the cats.

Cancellations

To cancel a reservation, click the link in your confirmation email at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation for a full refund. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please send us an email at info@santafecatcafe.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.
